This is my first blog that I publish, i'm from Indonesia, and i will Discusses the victims of the coup attempt in 1965 in Indonesia.
The coup attempt in 1965 was a movement that wanted to coup President Ir.Soekarno and the effort was carried out by communist groups in Indonesia led by D.N Aidit.
This event also caused a lot of controversy, in terms of actual perpetrators, and none other than, the bodies of the generals who were victims.

ON OCTOBER 3, 1965
Residents and soldier have found the hole where the generals in the grave, then the hole was in dug and there was a very rotten odor, it turned out that the bodies of the victims.
Before the hole was in dug there was a banana tree, the banana tree made the soldiers suspicious of the investigation and finally the hole was found.
ON OCTOBER 4, 1965
The evacuation process of the bodies was carried out, the bodies were appointed using
stairs and ropes, 1 soldier down using the stairs and then the soldiers tied the general's feet with a rope after that the rope was pulled by several people on the surface of the hole.
ON OCTOBER 5, 1965
On that day the bodies were buried in the cemetery Kalibata National Hero And at that time General A.H Nasution sounded his speech and at that moment the Indonesian Armed Forces Day took place.
That's a series of events after the discovery of the victims from the 1965 coup attempt
Next we will discuss the core of this blog, namely the results of autopsy, myths, and facts about the bodies of the generals.
We start from the myth first !!!
MYTH :
• said the genitals of the generals were cut into pieces with small knives and razor blades
• It is also said to be the eyes of the generals in damaged with small knives, sickles or bayonets
• It is also said to be the bodies of the generals in mutilation and also the face of the victim in damaged with a razor blade or small knife
That was The myth that was spread during the administration of President Soeharto.
FACT :
- The genitals of the generals are not cut at all, according to the autopsy of doctor law yan siang, The genitals of the victims are still intact and there is no evidence if the genitals are cut
- The eyes of the generals are not damaged and not lost, according to the autopsy, the eyes of the generals are still there and intact
- The bodies of the generals are not mutilated, the bodies of the victims are intact, however, the bodies of the victims expand
- The victims died because they were shot not because they were tormented or mutilated, however, some victims had blunt violence on his body, which was caused by blows or collisions.
And this autopsy results from doctor law yan siang.
My personal opinion about the reasons why there are myths or issues spread.
In my opinion, the myth or issue spread aims to cover up the truth, the Indonesian government wants Indonesian citizens to consider the Indonesian communist group to be very cruel and brutal
And it is made a propaganda of the New Order government to influence Indonesian citizens
And also the incident of the 1965 coup was made a film to commemorate the victims, but in my opinion the film was not in accordance with reality, in the film there was a cruel torture scene And one of them is the scene of damaging the general's eyes with sickles
And that is my opinion, maybe there are a few things that are controversial and quite sensitive, if you have opinions, we can discuss.
